| Okay, life is a little jammed packed and hectic right now!! So many things to get done, places to be, etc... After today I will be done with my geology class for good, and then I have to spend most of tonight packing up my crap. I'm going home Friday, but have a ten page paper to write before monday and then I have to study my ass off for my math final thats next friday! After that test I have to head to Columbus for my sisters graduation party!! The next morning I have to drive back to Celina for a graduation party and a ton of packing for my move, and then the next morning I move all my stuff to Athens!! Plus, I have to get my friend Purcy moved into our place right now since she's subletting from me over the summer! Just alot of hectic crap! Oh well, it makes time fly though. I'm really excited though about everything going on with my move and this big change!! I haven't been this excited and happy for a long time about change! Alot of times change can be bad, but I know this is a good one!
On a more sad note, we found out the results officially yesterday about my grandmother and she does have cancer of the blood, and its in the fourth stage. She starts kimo immediately next week on a regular basis, and is guaranteed to loose all of her hair. And even then, fourth stage is the worst, I just hope that the kimo works! I don't know if I'm ready for this, I mean, I know shes pretty old (85) and that every day/week/month/year is a blessing, but mentally, I'm just not prepared for what this could all bring in the coming months. I guess I can only hope and pray that things work out okay, and know that everything happens for a reason and a purpose.
Oh yeah, btw, my birthday was amazing! Natalie, her mom and grandma came down to Dayton to bring me out to eat at one of my favorite restaurants Brio, and they "supprised" me with bringing my mother, even though I had a pretty good feeling they would...hehe!! It was so nice outside we were able to eat out on the patio! Mom got me these camo shorts I've been wanting, and some baily's chocolate things, as well as a gift certificate! Natalie's grandma got me really nice gourmet coffee which went well with Natalies gift....and kickass coffee maker for my new apartment!! Its a really nice one too! So thanks Natalie for setting up an awesome birthday...thats what best friends are for after all!! Mike and Woods also put together a really awesome picture thing with all the fun things we have done since living here this last year...it will look great in my new apartment, and remind me of fun times back in Dayton!! THANKS EVERYONE!!!

| Well, I figured I'd try to update a little bit! Yesterday was my last day at Red Robin, I'm really gonna miss it too. As much as I complain about work, I did like it there. The people were great, and I made really good money! Oh well!! I move in less than three weeks now.......CRAZY!! Oh yeah, and my birthday is in just 2 more days!! Its weird to say the age "twenty" for some reason, no more teen behind my age....weird! I went to Athens the other week to do some major job hunting and it was quite successful!! I got a job at a restaurant called Bennigans serving tables, and just got a call today from the Athena movie theatre saying they wanted to hire me, so now I have two jobs to keep me busy this Summer!! I'm looking forward to Summer alot. Oh yeah, and its about time somebody in our family got married, its gonna be a blast of a wedding!!! Family reunion will be amazing too, we're all so old now compared to our old family vacations!! I'm really hoping to be able to get camping with my friends a few times this Summer too!! I've also been looking into graduate school alot as well!! I have it narrowed down to three places, because I'm limited with my degree because only a few colleges are actually "accredited" by the National Planning Association. If I don't have that, it'll be really hard to find a job!! So the plan as of right now is to graduate from OU in 2 years right on schedule, and then do the two year masters program at either Cincinnati, OSU, or Ball State. Those are the only three colleges in the area that have the planning accreditation. Most likely it will be between OSU and Ball State, but thats 2 years away, I'm gonna get this year done before I worry too much about it, but I always like to have some idea of where I'm going!! I guess thats really it, nothing much has really changed otherwise!! Hope everyone is excited that school is coming to and end as much as I am!!! | | |
| Has it been year already?
Where does the time go?
A year ago tonight I had the most amazing time of my life with my best friend ever! And now, a year later, I'm sick with a migrane and working a horrible shift at a restaurant. lol.....anyways, I have been sick lately, its getting bad and I hate it, but I'm hoping it will go away soon. Work was hard to get through tonight, I was coughing so much, sneezing, pounding in my head and eyeballs, etc..... I kept thinking back to a year ago and what I would have been doing. Sitting here though, in my room getting some fluids into my system, I am starting to feel a little better. Tomorrow will be a nice and relaxing day and so will Sunday. I also found out tonight that my cousing got prom queen.....thats awesome, she really does deserve it I think!! Congrats Ellen!!! Less than a month now till I move!! I'm so excited and yet its bittersweet, I'm saying goodbye to alot of people. Its like I'm moving on into a new place in my life, and it really is exciting though.
I guess I'm starting to actually feel kinda "old." I mean, I know I'm not old, but when i see friends of mine and even some of my family and things going on in my life and the people in my life, I can't help but think where the time went? It makes you happy and sad all at once.
MY BIRTHDAY IS COMING UP!! I'm excited to just have the day off work!!! I'm sick of work, its getting so stressful with school and all, but it'll all be over soon. 2 more weeks at Red Robin then 2 weeks after that I'm in Athens. I know mike and some people are trying to plan something, which I'm totally not used to, but hey, I'll have fun either way!! I have good close friends again, and it feels good to know where I stand and how strong these friendships are. Mike is so awesome, we've gotten alot closer over the past year and I honestly consider him one of my best friends. He always has my back and listens to me rant about different things going badly in my life, and thats all I need, someone to listen and understand!! So many things lately seem to have just made me realise how lucky I am. I love where I am in my life and am so happy with everything. I'm happy with who I am and who my friends are. I'm happy with my faith. I'm happy with school. I'm happy with where I am going. I'm happy about ther person I am becoming and growing into!!
